Idan was producing parties from a young age, becoming an integral part of the psychedelic zone in Israel. When he realized that in order to wear the designs that were running in his head, he must create them by himself from scratch. So he packed himself, went to India and Nepal, manufactured his dream designs and returned to Israel in order to sell his creations in festival markets and shops.In the year 2000, Idan launched his first Plazmalab shop in the heart of King George st. - which is where all the style, the beat and urbanism vibes are in the front - full power. However, Idan was not yet satisfied. Through going into a deep process of perfection and accuracy, he realized that manufacturing his visions in a far land did not quite allow him to fully be involved, which made his visions kind of incomplete. Idan understood that in order to create all of his visions in clothing, he would have to do it here, in Israel, by himself - So he started exploring.
Idan started to study and learn every aspect of manufacturing. He went to factories, visited sewing workshops and examined every aspect of bringing his vision into reality. At first, he used to print the design in one place, then went off to another place to cut and shape and then to another place for packing. Idan realized that his work is too scattered and the level of accuracy is quite limited. and limited accuracy is not an option for Idan. So he literally started to build his own factory, upgrading it slowly until it became an independent place for self manufacturing, that resides in Tel-Aviv.
Idan is a thrill junkie. He lives and breathes in order to dream, design, draw, create and of course make his ideas a true vivid object. Idan had been doing this for 20 years , day by day, hour by hour - and still - he feels that he touched magic. innovation makes him excited from the inside, the power of thought thrills him, challenges makes him think and be creative, the concept of “thought creates reality” excites him, and the inspirable artistic exploration is what drives him. Idan lives his process and is present in every detail of a new design and leaves boredom in a far far dimension, which will not come close to Idan or Plazmalab.
Deep inside the sparkling Plazmalab family, Idan - The ancestor of the Plazmalab civilization, connects all the human, creative, technical and logistics pieces of the puzzle into a whole piece which takes a one-time psychedelic dream and makes it a wearable reality.
